I'd like to think it's for my usefulness as an all-round enthusiastic puppy dog on the road, adding insights that season his curd-based show with a broader perspective and generally chatting up the cheesemakers. But who am I kidding? I'm there to drink with the film crew at night when the producer (Studd) is over it, and it's a responsibility I discharge with enthusiasm.
